Whimsique began with designs our clients could hold in their hands.

Invitations were our starting point, opening the door to signage, showpieces, and full-scale installations. As the projects grew, so did the places they took us. Onsite builds. Creative challenges. And celebrations in destinations we still dream about.

Our studio is now a place where design isn’t tied to a single medium but lives across the entire celebration.

Melissa’s background spans product design, art direction, and manufacturing, giving her a rare blend of creative instinct and technical understanding. She has built prototypes by hand, collaborated with factories overseas, and designed pieces still sold by major retailers.

Whimsique began when friends began asking for invitations. As the work expanded into signage, installations, and full event atmospheres, Melissa expanded the studio into a place where illustration, painting, fabrication, and production all come together.

She leads with a confident, collaborative style and a love for tackling any creative challenge. Her work has been featured in BRIDES, Modern Luxury, Inside Weddings, Over the Moon, and Carats & Cake.
